As Prime Day heats up on Amazon, another piece of tech news is electrifying enthusiasts: the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the upcoming premium foldable smartphone from the Mountain View giant, has just been hit by two major leaks within days—revealing both its raw power and a clear glimpse of its design.

Power Confirmed by Geekbench: A Tensor G5 Built for Performance

The first revelation comes from Geekbench. The results, published on July 10, leave no doubt about the identity of the tested model. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold delivers impressive scores: 2,276 points in single-core and 6,173 points in multi-core performance. While these numbers may be slightly adjusted in the final version, they already promise a smooth and powerful user experience.

At the heart of this performance lies the Google Tensor G5, manufactured by TSMC (Apple’s chip partner) using a 3-nanometer process. This next-generation custom chip from Google features a sophisticated octa-core architecture:

  • 1 Cortex-X4 prime core clocked at 3.78 GHz

  • 5 Cortex-A725 performance cores at 3.05 GHz

  • 2 Cortex-A520 efficiency cores at 2.25 GHz

The device will come with 16 GB of RAM and will run Android 16 out of the box, Google’s upcoming version of its mobile operating system. On the graphics side, rumors point to a PowerVR Series D GPU capable of reaching up to 1100 MHz.

Leaked Prototype: First Real Images and a Refined Design

Just a few days earlier, on July 8, a physical prototype made an unexpected yet revealing appearance on the Chinese auction site Goofish. Although the images show a pre-production unit — identifiable by the distinctive markings on the back panel used for internal tracking — they offer a tangible first look at the expected final design.

The photos confirm several key details:

  • Thinner and seemingly symmetrical bezels around the foldable display

  • A continued use of a hole-punch cutout for the front-facing camera on the main screen

  • An updated version of the iconic rear camera bar, which appears thinner and less pronounced than the one on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold — a detail hinted at in earlier leaks, though hard to assess precisely from these images. The Google logo remains clearly visible

  • A design evolution that builds on previous generations, focusing on refinement rather than radical change

When will the Pixel 10 Pro Fold be released?

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be Google’s third foldable smartphone, following the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It is expected to be officially unveiled as early as August, alongside the other anticipated members of the Pixel 10 lineup (Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL).

These simultaneous leaks—both technical and visual—are fueling excitement around Google’s next foldable flagship. They reveal an ambitious device: powered by a TSMC-manufactured Tensor G5 chip promising major performance gains, and featuring a design that refines the proven Pixel foldable formula. The question remains whether this blend of raw power and evolutionary design, rather than radical change, will be enough to win over a foldable market that is becoming increasingly competitive—and to attract users beyond the loyal pure Android fanbase. The answer will come in just a few weeks.
