An imminent launch for the first three-part foldable
For several months now, the Galaxy Z Trifold has been at the center of tech conversations. Many expected it to be unveiled at the end of September alongside Samsung’s mixed reality headset. In the end, the presentation never happened, leaving fans in the dark.
But according to the latest information shared by Ice Universe, Samsung now appears ready to reveal its most ambitious device yet.
The smartphone is said to feature a 6.5-inch external display and a 10-inch internal screen when fully unfolded. As for battery life, the leak mentions a 5600 mAh battery, a detail that is already exciting users who were disappointed by the modest batteries of previous Fold models.
A brand-new design and a launch already teased
The Galaxy Z Trifold is set to push the boundaries of the foldable format. Thanks to its triple-hinge mechanism, it could offer a larger display area than ever before while remaining compact when folded. Some sources even mention a clever selfie system that uses the different panels as supports to capture shots from various angles.À
The smartphone has already been spotted behind the scenes at the APEC 2025 conference, a notable appearance that hinted at an imminent launch. If the December 5 date turns out to be accurate, Samsung could make a major impact before the end of the year and regain the lead over its Chinese competitors in the foldable market.
Just a few more days of patience before we finally see what Samsung’s first three-panel foldable is truly capable of.
