A new look for the camera module
The most noticeable change is on the back of the smartphone. The three main cameras, still vertically aligned on the left side, are now connected by a single island. A design that brings back memories of older generations and appears thicker than on the S25 Ultra.
It remains to be seen whether Samsung will balance this bump with a slimmer frame.
The real innovation lies in the native integration of magnets for Qi2 magnetic wireless charging. Until now, Samsung had left this feature to its accessory makers, following Google, which recently adopted it for the Pixel 10. Qi2 not only ensures perfect alignment on chargers but also opens the door to an entire ecosystem of magnetic accessories.
What we already know
The S26 Ultra is expected to feature the Exynos 2600 in Europe and keep its 5000 mAh battery. Camera improvements are also anticipated. While the launch is planned for January 2026, production delays could push the release date back by a few weeks.
This leak confirms that Samsung continues to innovate, even with its most established models. Mobile photography enthusiasts and fans of magnetic accessories have every reason to be excited.
