It’s now almost official: the Galaxy S26+ is indeed real. After several weeks of rumors suggesting the disappearance of the Plus model in favor of a new Edge version, fresh leaks from OnLeaks have set the record straight. And surprisingly, Samsung seems to have chosen continuity over change.

A more classic and balanced design

According to the 3D renders shared by the well-known leaker, the Galaxy S26+ will feature a more rounded and uniform design, in line with previous models. Gone are the aggressive curves of the S26 Edge, as Samsung returns to a more refined and balanced approach. The camera module also appears more discreet and better integrated into the frame, while maintaining the signature elegance of the Galaxy S lineup. On the front, a centered punch-hole houses the selfie camera, a now familiar yet reliable configuration.

This more measured direction may appeal to users who found the Edge model’s design too experimental. The Galaxy S26+ seems determined to reassure its audience by focusing on consistency and craftsmanship rather than visual extravagance.

A solid and well-balanced spec sheet

The leaks also reveal part of the smartphone’s technical sheet. The Galaxy S26+ is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main sensor, along with a 12-MP ultra-wide lens and a 12-MP telephoto lens. On the front, a 12-MP sensor would handle selfies and video calls.

Another notable improvement is the battery, which would increase to 4,900 mAh, bringing it closer to the Ultra model in terms of battery life. This upgrade should provide better endurance without sacrificing the device’s slim design.

For now, it’s unclear whether Samsung still plans to release an Edge model or if the S26+ will permanently reclaim its spot in the lineup. One thing is certain: with its blend of reliability and power, the Galaxy S26+ looks like a true return to the essentials, ready to win over longtime fans when 2026 begins.
