In response to numerous leaks about its upcoming flagship, Google has opted for full transparency. In a teaser video published on its official website, the Mountain View company revealed the final look of the Pixel 10, confirming several major rumors in the process. This strategic move comes less than a month before the “Made by Google” event, scheduled for August 20 in New York, where the full lineup (smartphones, watches, earbuds) will be unveiled.

The teaser confirms several key elements:

  • The addition of a third camera (likely an 11 MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom)

  • A design inherited from the Pixel 9 featuring an aluminum frame and beveled edges

  • Four color options for the standard model: Obsidian (black), Indigo (blue), Frost (light blue), and Limoncello (yellow-green)

A more refined design

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold features the most notable upgrades:

  • Thinner screen bezels

  • A redesigned, more compact hinge

  • Google’s first foldable to receive full dust resistance certification

The “Limoncello” shade marks a break from the brand’s traditional color palettes, while the Pro versions are expected to retain more understated finishes, as seen in the previous generation.

Stable pricing

According to available information, Google is expected to maintain its current pricing structure:

  • $1,049 for the 128 GB version

  • $1,199 for the 256 GB model

This early reveal strategy, a first for Google, signals a shift in approach in response to industry leaks. It remains to be seen at the August keynote whether the software innovations of Android 16—particularly its “Live Updates”—will complement this hardware evolution.
