Kyocera Duraforce: Full Specifications

Kyocera designed the DuraForce as a truly rugged smartphone, with a thick, reinforced body that stands up to dust, water and everyday knocks while remaining relatively compact by rugged-phone standards. Its 4.5-inch IPS display has a 720 x 1280 resolution, and the phone supports touch input with gloves up to 3 mm thick, which suits outdoor and jobsite use. Inside, it runs on a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, plus a microSD slot for cards up to 32 GB. The camera setup is simple but practical, pairing an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and 1080p video with a 2 MP front camera for basic selfies and video calls. A 3100 mAh battery handles daily use, and the phone also supports PMA wireless charging with a compatible accessory. Connectivity includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS, with a single nano-SIM slot. Other notable touches include Kyocera’s Smart Sonic receiver, which uses the display to help deliver clearer call audio in noisy surroundings. At 136.8 x 70.5 x 13.9 mm and 200 g, it feels solid and purpose-built.
