Galaxy S7 Active: Full Specifications

Built as the rugged member of the Galaxy S7 family, the Galaxy S7 Active keeps the premium core of Samsung’s flagship while wrapping it in a thicker, more protected shell. Its 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display has a sharp 2560 x 1440 resolution, and the handset runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. A microSD slot allows storage expansion up to 256 GB, which helps the device stay practical for photos, offline media and older apps. Samsung paired that hardware with a 4000 mAh battery, plus Adaptive Fast Charging and built-in wireless charging support. The rear camera uses a 12 MP Dual Pixel sensor with an f/1.7 lens and 4K video recording, while the front camera is a 5 MP unit. Durability is the defining theme here: the phone is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, tested to MIL-STD-810G conditions, and includes a shatter-resistant screen claim in Samsung’s materials. It also adds a fingerprint sensor, a customizable Active Key, Micro USB, and a body measuring about 148.6 x 74.9 x 9.7 mm.
