The Blackberry Priv stands apart from most Android phones of its era by pairing a large curved touchscreen with a hidden physical QWERTY keyboard that slides out from below the display. Closed, it looks like a slim all-touch handset with a 5.43-inch AMOLED panel at 2560 x 1440 resolution, Gorilla Glass 4, and a tall, gently curved front that gives it a distinctive shape. Open, it adds the typing feel BlackBerry users expect, and the keyboard also supports touch gestures for scrolling and navigation. Inside, the phone uses a Snapdragon 808 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, with microSD expansion for much more space. Its 18 MP rear camera includes optical image stabilization and phase-detection autofocus, and it records up to 4K video, while the front camera handles basic selfies and 720p video. A 3410 mAh battery, Quick Charge 2.0 support, and both Qi and PMA wireless charging round out the hardware. NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi ac, a headphone jack, and single Nano-SIM support complete a design that mixes productivity features with a premium slider form factor.
