OneTouch Idol 3: Full Specifications

Alcatel gave the OneTouch Idol 3 a distinct identity by combining a thin, lightweight body with a reversible layout that lets the interface work in either orientation, an unusual touch for its generation. The 5.5-inch IPS display runs at 1920 x 1080, which helps the phone feel sharper and more comfortable for web browsing, video and reading than many entry-level large phones. Power comes from a Snapdragon 615 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, with microSD expansion available for extra space. The software shipped with Android 5.0, and the overall specification set was aimed at steady everyday use rather than flagship performance. On the camera side, it pairs a 13-megapixel rear camera with an 8-megapixel front camera, and it supports 1080p video recording. The 2910 mAh battery is built in, while connectivity includes LTE support on supported variants, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. At about 152.7 x 75.1 x 7.4 mm and roughly 141 g, it remains notably slim for a 5.5-inch handset, and JBL-enhanced sound adds one more highlight to its media-friendly character.
