Pixi 4: Full Specifications

Within Alcatel’s entry-level range, the 5-inch Pixi 4 was designed as a straightforward Android phone with a larger display than the smallest Pixi models while keeping the overall hardware modest. Its 5-inch FWVGA touchscreen with 854 x 480 resolution suits routine tasks such as texting, browsing and video playback, and the phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow on a quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM. Storage is limited to 8 GB, but microSD expansion up to 32 GB helps make room for photos and media. The body measures about 140.7 x 72.5 x 9.5 mm and weighs roughly 169 g, giving it a fairly thick but manageable feel with a plastic build, micro-USB port and 3.5 mm headphone jack. Camera hardware is basic, with an LED flash on the rear camera and a simpler front camera setup intended more for occasional selfies and video calls than photography as a priority. A 2000 mAh battery, power-saving features, LTE support on the commonly listed 4G version, and support for single-SIM or dual-SIM variants round out a phone that was built to cover the fundamentals without much excess.
