Google’s Pixel 5a is built as a practical everyday phone with a larger footprint than the compact Pixels around it, pairing a 6.34-inch OLED display with a sturdy metal unibody, Gorilla Glass 3 on the front, and IP67 resistance to water and dust. Its FHD+ screen keeps a sharp 2400 x 1080 resolution, while the Snapdragon 765G and 6 GB of RAM give it dependable mid-range performance for routine apps, multitasking, navigation, and 5G connectivity. Storage is fixed at 128 GB. Photography remains one of its strongest points, with a 12.2 MP main camera with optical and electronic stabilization backed by a 16 MP ultrawide, plus 4K video at up to 60 fps; the 8 MP front camera handles selfies and 1080p video. A 4680 mAh battery gives the phone one of the bigger capacities in its class, though charging is limited to 18 W over USB-C and there is no wireless charging.
