TCL 50 XE NXTPAPER 5G: Full Specifications

The TCL 50 XE NXTPAPER 5G stands out for its paper-like display treatment, giving this budget 5G model a different feel from a typical glossy handset. Its 6.56-inch HD+ screen uses TCL’s NXTPAPER technology with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling, aiming for smoother scrolling and a softer, less reflective look for reading, browsing, and everyday video. Inside, it runs on a MediaTek MT6835 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, plus microSD expansion up to 2TB, so there is room for apps, offline media, and photos without relying only on cloud storage. The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with 5MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth cameras on the back, along with an 8MP front camera for selfies and calls. A 5010mAh battery, 5G support, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual speakers, face unlock, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor round out a practical feature set. At 185 g, it remains fairly manageable for a large-screen device.
