Nokia 3.4: Full Specifications

Positioned as an entry-level Android phone, the Nokia 3.4 combines a large display with a clean, straightforward design and practical everyday features. Its 6.39-inch HD+ screen uses a punch-hole front camera layout, giving it a more modern look than many basic models from the same period, while the rounded body and polymer composite back keep the handset light enough at 180 g. Inside, the Snapdragon 460 platform is paired with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB of storage depending on the version, with microSD expansion support up to 512 GB for extra room. The rear camera system includes a 13 MP main sensor, a 5 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP depth camera, with features such as Night mode, Portrait mode and HDR, while the front camera is 8 MP. A 4,000 mAh battery and 10 W charging cover the basics for day-to-day use, and the phone also includes USB-C, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM radio, GPS support and a rear fingerprint sensor. At 160.97 x 75.99 x 8.7 mm, it is a conventional full-size handset built around affordability and essential smartphone functions.

Pros

  • Price: For a bit under $300, the Nokia 3.4 does offer many luxuries of a smartphone, and may be appealing to new users.
  • Battery: For a budget phone, the 3.4 includes a 4000 mAh battery, which lasts around a day.

Cons

  • Charging: Despite the phone's large battery, its charging is very slow, and takes around 30 minutes for every 15%.
  • Specs and design: This phone really struggles with its performance and appearance. The ring on the back with all the cameras in a triangle looks very odd. More importantly, the phone really struggles with its performance, making it hard to justify purchasing a new one given the abundance of more powerful choices.
