Beware, it's a scam! Loblaws is offering cell phone plans at unbeatable prices under a no-name brand. First problem: they advertise plans starting at $15 on their website, but... there are no $15 plans when you sign up. They start at $20. Still, $20 for 2 GB if you sign up for automatic payments... Second scam: they take advantage of this to charge your card at will. They didn't charge me $20, but almost $70! Despite the many negative reviews I've read, I'm very happy with my experience with Lucky Mobile. I've been a customer for two months now, and I find their service to be excellent. Topping up with a card is extremely fast and convenient. My only complaint is that they send a lot of text messages, but having never used any other provider, I'm not sure if this is a common practice. The system becomes slow during peak hours. Also, depending on where you are, the connection can drop. This is very frustrating when working remotely.
