Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra blends the Galaxy S line with many of the traits that once defined the Note, most notably an integrated S Pen housed inside the phone. Its squared-off shape, glass-and-metal build, IP68 water resistance and Armour Aluminum frame give it a distinctly premium feel, while the large 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display combines a sharp 1440 x 3080 resolution with an adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate and very high peak brightness for a vivid, smooth presentation. In Canadian and U.S. configurations, it uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 power and pairs it with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM, with storage tiers ranging from 128 GB up to 1 TB depending on version. The camera setup is one of the defining parts of the device, led by a 108 MP main sensor and supported by 12 MP ultra wide, 10 MP 3x telephoto and 10 MP 10x periscope telephoto cameras, plus a 40 MP front camera. Samsung also supports 8K video recording. A 5,000 mAh battery, up to 45 W wired charging, 15 W wireless charging, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, stereo speakers, ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking and eSIM support round out a handset built for productivity, media and ambitious mobile photography.
