Positioned as a stylish large-format model in Huawei’s Nova lineup, the Huawei Nova Plus combines a metal unibody design with a comfortable 7.3 mm profile and a weight of about 160 g, giving it a substantial but still manageable feel. Its 5.5-inch IPS display reaches 1920 x 1080 resolution at 401 ppi, which suits video, reading and everyday browsing well. Power comes from Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 625, paired with market-dependent memory options that include 3 GB of RAM with 32 GB of storage or 4 GB with 64 GB, plus microSD expansion up to 128 GB. The software is based on Android 6.0 with EMUI 4.1. Photography is one of its more notable strengths, with a 16 MP rear camera that supports optical image stabilization and 4K video capture, along with a front 8 MP camera for selfies and 1080p video. A 3340 mAh battery, rear fingerprint sensor, USB-C port, Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi n round out the package. Depending on version, it supports either dual nano-SIM use or a nano-SIM and microSD combination through its hybrid tray.
