Google’s Pixel 6 Pro is a premium Android phone built around a distinctive design, with a polished alloy frame, Gorilla Glass Victus on the front and back, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Its 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display runs at a sharp 1440 x 3120 resolution and can scale up to 120 Hz, giving the phone a large, fluid screen that suits everything from streaming to photography and everyday multitasking. Inside, Google’s first-generation Tensor chip works with 12 GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, with 128 GB and 256 GB versions listed for Canada. The camera system remains one of the defining parts of the device, combining a 50 MP main camera, 12 MP ultrawide, and 48 MP telephoto with 4x optical zoom, plus an 11.1 MP front camera. Cons

  • Price: A brand new Pixel 6 Pro starts at $1179 in Canada. Although this is a similar price to other premium Android devices, it is certainly not cheap.
  • No charger included: Although the Pixel 6 Pro boasts 30W wired charging and 23W wireless charging, you will have to purchase a charger separately.
