Anyone looking for a less expensive internet provider in Canada, I strongly recommend that you do NOT choose VMedia. Their internet drops multiple times per day, and their methods of customer support always change, or drop, and their methods of contact disappear. We were unfortunately with Vmedia for 4 years before switching to Telus. Anytime you need any help, expect to wait 1-2 hours minimum. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Not only did we have issues for months of it cutting out and being unreliable , we just without internet for 6 days and still not fixed. You have to wait on hold for over an hour each time you call. They always ask 100 questions, transfer the call, are put in hold, then are asked the same questions again! The internet is half price compared to the big companies. I pay $30 a month for internet and get free tv with pluto tv. They use Shaw's wires, so same quality internet as Shaw (good, but not perfect). Overall I'm very happy with Vmedia! They also have unlimited usage!

Sales picks up on the first rings and after the snake oil sold your experience will be hell. Installer had barely any information. He activated the modem and left. The internet never achieved stated speed and dropped constantly. No answer from customer support ever. No answer from customer support.
