Shaw home internet plans are available all across Canada. To see which plans are available to you, do a postal code based search on PlanHub. They offer both unlimited and usage-based plans, so you can find the perfect fit for your family. If you're looking for a fast and reliable internet connection, Shaw may be the provider!
The majority of these reviews seem positive. As such a large company, users have praised their rapid speeds and simple service. However, some Shaw reviews complain about long waiting times for customer service, which is inevitable with large providers.
Thankfully we have more than just Rogers/shaw internet to choose from now. We have already started the process of switching. Finally have telus in the neighborhood. Of you have the ability to go with another company I suggest you do.
poor connections and long hold time for customer care. its been 2.5 hrs i am still on wait
Can not provide advertised speed. Frequent drops in internet. Attempt to resolve mulitiple times. Requires 3+ tries of refurb internet boxes before finally sent a brand new one. Can not keep up with modern family internet usage. They are polite, but actual ability to solve problems is lacking. Expensive for product actually received. Held hostage by email until able to flip everything over to gmail.
A little bit expensive.

As one of the country's largest providers, their substantial growth remains highly impressive. Shaw was founded as Capital Cable Television Company, Ltd. in Edmonton, Alberta in 1966. The company went public on the TSX in 1983 under the name Shaw Communications Inc. Shaw provides a variety of services including Shaw Mobile, Shaw Home Phone, Shaw Direct, Shaw Business, Shaw Go WiFi and Shaw Internet. They also offer television services through Shaw Direct and Shaw Cable. As one of Canada's largest telecom providers, they have become a household name. What makes Shaw different? There are many reasons why people love Shaw. One thing that sets them apart is their commitment to customer satisfaction. They were ranked as the most recommended brand in Canada for the sixth consecutive year in 2019. And in 2018, they were named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers. But perhaps what people love most about Shaw is their reliable and speedy service. With their fibre optic technology, you'll get some of the fastest download speeds available.
