Find the best & cheapest Telus home internet plans in Canada

For years I have had very good internet service. Always courteous.

I have been on and off with Telus and Shaw for five years. With Telus, I have experienced better customer service, more internet stability*, and more upsets.
The customer service is usually handled promptly when you are an existing customer, call back service is great. The staff is usually very courteous, which is good.
Previously, I rarely experienced any drop-offs in my service. Since Covid-19, daily! I knew they addressed the bandwidth for customers; although they collected the same money for full services and with only 15-20% of download speeds.
My main issues are promises of higher speeds in my area and better plans for new customers. Higher speeds from other competitors are offered at lower prices. If you wait for Telus to finally compete then you will be behind, but you will still pay higher prices. Also, Telus does not call you, or send out emails to inform you of better plans. The phone calls are for money and the emails are to make more money. You will experience emails offering new mobile devices, security, Telus tv, etc. There is rarely* an email about updating your plan to a new one that saves you money.

I have had a good experience with Telus, have been with them for over 11 years. I did notice my internet/cable bill went up and was quite high but when I called them, they helped me figure it out and I've been paying $50.00 less for the last few months.

They are a monopoly and they have no respect for their clients because their customer service is crap.

Telus gives me exceptional service except maybe for the speed I should have ... if I test on speedtest, it's great but your test gives me minimal speed .. who to believe ...

I find the service expensive, I receive other offers for more speed and less money. I think I have too much for what I use

It's big, I have a contract since last June, and recently I noticed they increased my bill by 3.00 $ + taxes and other such charges which amounted to almost 6.00 $ in January. this is pure bs telus. Now try to get in line.

only supplier available in my sector. Many holes in the network. some services are available a few hundred meters from my home but impossible to have them. No development planned for the next 2 years ...

The download speed during prime time leaves something to be desired; especially if you watch live TV via the Internet.
.Comment: living in a region far from major centers, you can only do business with BIG companies such as TELUS.

The cost of the subscription is exaggerated and the ad is misleading.

I have 2 Mbits for 12 years via a WAN that I built in 2006. no service at home via wired. We are in 2020 ..... misery

Respond quite quickly, good response no matter the problems, good support in problem-solving
