OneTouch A392: Full Specifications

Built around a classic flip-phone format, the OneTouch A392 keeps the focus on calling, texting, and straightforward everyday tasks rather than smartphone features. Its compact body uses a traditional numeric keypad and navigation pad, with a 2.4-inch main display at 320 x 240 and a small 1.2-inch outer screen for quick glance information when the phone is closed. The handset includes a 2 MP rear camera and can also record basic video, while local media features such as an FM radio, music player, picture viewer, and voice recorder add a little extra versatility. Storage can be expanded with microSDHC cards up to 32 GB, which helps for photos, music, and other files. Connectivity covers Bluetooth 2.1, micro-USB, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and the phone supports GSM and UMTS networks with HSPA data. An 850 mAh removable battery suits the device’s simple hardware, and the flip design keeps it easy to pocket at about 104 g. Extras such as A-GPS support and hearing aid compatibility round out a model that is clearly designed for uncomplicated use and familiar physical controls.

Pros

  • External display: The phone's small external display allows you to quickly see who's calling or texting.
  • Size: The OneTouch A392 can easily be flipped and tucked away in a pocket or purse.

Cons

  • Texting: Like most flip phones, texting is slow and tedious on the OneTouch A392.
  • Camera: For a rear facing camera, the OneTouch A392 is heavily lacking, and cannot take decent quality photos.
