Nothing Phone (3a) Pro: Full Specifications

Built around Nothing’s distinctive industrial style, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro combines flat sides, glass surfaces and aluminium accents with a large 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED display. Its screen reaches a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and very high peak brightness, which suits streaming, scrolling and outdoor use alike. Performance comes from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 paired here with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, running Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15 for a clean, streamlined software experience. Photography is a major part of the package, with a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom, an 8 MP ultra wide and a 50 MP front camera, along with 4K video recording. A 5000 mAh battery and 50W wired charging keep the device practical for long days, while IP64 protection adds resistance against dust and splashes. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, dual SIM support with eSIM, stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor. At 163.52 x 77.50 x 8.39 mm and 211 g, it is a sizable handset with an emphasis on display and camera versatility.

Pros

  • Advanced Telephoto Lens: The addition of a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom offers superior long-range photography for its class.
  • Blindingly Bright Display: With a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, the screen remains perfectly clear even under the harshest midday sun.
  • Ultra-Fast Selfies: The upgraded 50MP front camera captures exceptional detail and supports 4K video for high-quality content creation.

Cons

  • Average Protection: The IP64 rating only protects against splashes and dust, lacking the full submersion resistance of true flagship rivals.
  • Limited Charging Options: While wired charging is fast, the continued absence of wireless charging remains a drawback for some users.
  • Mid-Range Performance: The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is efficient for daily tasks but may struggle with the most demanding high-end games.
