Cannot cancel
I had 25M plan with Heronet for $730+ per year, for a few years now. The deal no longer makes sense so I decided to switch. Requested to cancel the internet service 2 weeks ago. I pay yearly and the latest charge was in January for $730+. I would expect to receive prorated refund for about $480+. But there's no response whatsoever from heronet. Made the request online. Happy With Service, Rare Issues
Their answering machine is pretty corny, but I've been happy with my service for the past few years and have rarely run into issues with my internet connection, billing, or anything else. I liked that when I was initially getting my internet set up, I wasn't on hold for long periods of time, and my call was usually answered by the same individuals based in Canada. Recommended!

I've been a HeroNet customer since 2017 and never had a problem.
They helped me transfer my subscription to a new address and everything went smoothly.
What I also really like with them is that they take the time to call you when needs be. Like when I wanted to upgrade for a faster transfer speed, they called me to make sure that it is really what I needed and checked that nothing was wrong with it.
