LG’s K4 keeps things compact with a 4.5 inch display and a small body that is easy to handle for everyday calling, texting and light app use. Its screen has a 854 x 480 resolution, while the quad core processor, 1 GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1 place it firmly in the entry level class. Storage is limited to 8 GB, but a microSD card can add up to 32 GB for photos, music and other basics. The rear camera is a 5 MP unit with autofocus and LED flash, and the front 2 MP camera supports LG selfie features such as gesture controls and screen backlight assistance. Video capture reaches 720p HD. The phone also includes 4G LTE, Wi Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a standard micro USB port with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. A removable 1,940 mAh battery adds some practicality for older hardware, and the chassis measures 131.9 x 66.7 x 8.9 mm. Depending on version, SIM support can vary, but the K4’s overall character stays the same: a straightforward Android phone built around essential functions in a manageable format.
