We had problems with our connection twice in five months (internet just stopped working out of nowhere). BOTH TIMES, we called for a technician and the tech NEVER SHOWED UP. Both times. The second time, once it was 4pm (the tech was supposed to come before 5pm), I called support. They confirmed "don't worry madam, the technician is coming, don't worry" and laughed at me. On March 1st, 2005 Virgin Mobile was officially launched. On July 19th, 2021, Virgin Mobile was renamed to Virgin Plus, implying the expansion of the company and the efforts of supplementing today's Virgin Mobile plans and Virgin mobile family plans. Their initial launch was initiated by offering prepaid plans. In order to stand out amongst its competitors, the company opted for bold commercials, featuring nurses or angels. Despite the negative comments the service provider initially received, they continued to pursue this advertising technique for years. Today, the result speaks for itself: Virgin Plus has not only created a mark for itself in the Canadian telecom industry but has successfully created an identity for itself that differs from other companies. In 2009, Bell Mobility acquired Virgin Plus, and since then, users have been benefiting from its HSPA network. This came as an opportunity to provide other services such as smartphone retailing.
